So Kabuto Noodles has launched a brilliant PR campaign that I was very impressed by when I read about it online (I say that as I am sitting at my office desk in the morning having a pot of Kabuto).
They are basically offering a complimentary ‘hangover’ cab to work this party season: the hangover cab will pick you up from your home and drop you off to work. But wait, the fun doesn’t stop there – they give you a massive bag full of hangover goodies that will knock the socks off your hangover.
Needless to say, when I heard about it (and not having had a single sober night for 7 straight days) I was like OMG I NEED THIS! So I decided to get in touch with Kabuto on Twitter (@KabutoNoodles) and they promptly arrange a ride.

Versace has confirmed Lady Gaga as the face of its SS14 campaign, the first time that the popstar has starred in any fashion advertising.
Lady Gaga appears in a series of images shot in London by Mert Alas & Marcus Piggott, wearing pieces from the SS14 ready-to-wear and accessories collections. Apparently Lady Gaga and Donatella Versace are pretty tight.
Lady Gaga is also captured with the new Palazzo bag, introduced at the SS14 show.
I do love the photography to be honest; but then, I am a Lady gaga fan!
Following Alexa Chung’s appointment as its Creative Director, beauty brand Eyeko has unveiled the limited edition Alexa for Eyeko ‘chic flick’ Eye Make-up Kit, set to launch at BeautyMART this week.
Alexa has chosen her two favourite products, Eye Do Liquid Eyeliner and Eye Do Mascara and created signature packaging featuring calligraphic doodles, selfies and application tips.
Eye Do Liquid Eyeliner is a waterproof felt-tip pen that contains the WIDELASH formula to help stimulate lash growth and thickness with regular use. Eye Do Mascara comes in Eyeko’s signature soft tube and is water resistant, paraben-free and contains vitamins A and E, keratin, Gingko biloba and botanical proteins to condition lashes.
The eye make-up kit, available in Selfridges, will launch at BeautyMART online and in-stores tomorrow (21 November), priced at £35.
Renowned British fashion designer and activist Vivienne Westwood has announced the launch of her authorised biography, set to launch in October 2014.
Vivienne is both writing and collaborating on the personal memoir and biography; partly her own voice, partly through contributions from her network of friends, family and associates, ranging from Pamela Anderson to Prince Charles, Shami Chakrabati, Naomi Campbell, Jerry Hall, Bob Geldof and Julian Assange, along with those of her close family and her design partner and husband, Andreas Kronthaler.
Vivienne Westwood’s authorised life story will be published by Picador in hardback.
Kiko is an Italian make up brand that has become one of my favourites in the last year. The only outlet I have seen so far is the one at Westfield Stratford but I am sure there are a few more. Whenever I go to Westfield, I make a point of visiting Kiko (which is always over crowded) and sampling everything in sight.
I have three favourites from all the Kiko products I have tried out so far – two are make up items and the third one is a perfume. I will do the perfume review at another point of time but I wanted to share the lovely make up pieces with you.
The first one is Kiko Colour Shock waterproof eyeshadow which is priced at £6.90 and comes in eight shades. The one I love is in 06 Lagoon Blue and you can see the packaging below. It comes in a little tub and can be used both as an eyeliner and an eyeshadow. It has great staying power once it has set and is highly pigmented but also easily blendable for a less intense finish.
The second item is the long lasting lipstick in number 04. The product comes in a slim lipstick case which I find very sexy. It is hydrating but not glossy, it glides on super easily and leaves a non-stick, matte and satiny feel on the lips. The colour has amazing lasting power as well and does not bleed into lines.

Models Own launched their Lip Stix a couple of months ago and I got my hands on three gorgeous colours to try out. Priced at £5, I think they are incredibly good value for money especially because they are so easy to apply and are heavily pigmented while being moisturising at the same time.
They are available in ten shades and are available to purchase at Boots. I am usually not a massive fan of lip crayons but these are really east to apply on the go and there’s minimal possibility of messing these up. Plus I love how hydrated my lips feels after using them.
Here are swatches of the three shades I bagged which I quite like: Beauty Blush, Ravishing Red and Very Berry.
I know I rave about bareMinerals Marvelous Moxie way too much – I have already written twice about them, first was when I went to the launch and the second was a detailed review of the lippies, glossies and liners.
My favourite product from the Moxie range was the lippies and I have managed to get my hands on five new yummy shades:
I haven’t actually put up photos of how they look on me so I thought I would do some swatches both on my hand and on my lips to show all of you how it looks.
The lipsticks are so easy to apply – there’s no fuss about prepping your lips before hand as there usually is with matte lipsticks. No matter how messily you apply them, they are so buttery and moisturising that they nourish your lips and adjust themselves on the lips perfectly.
